Try Some Fitness Quickies -5 minutes
Only have 5 minutes? Then you've got time for any of these workouts. Also, keep an eye out for opportunities to take the stairs, park in the far corner of the lot, haul shopping bags, and so on.
- Do some calf raises (rise on the balls of your feet, pause, then lower) while stirring a pot on the stove.
- Do walking lunges down a hallway and back, repeat till times up.
- Turn up the tunes (maybe your favorite hip-hop from high school days?) and dance like no one’s watching (on one is!).
- Hula hoop! It’s core challenging than it looks and lots of fun to boot.
- Sweep or mop the kitchen floor.
